Bob Dickinson retired from Carnival Cruise Lines following a 36-year career. During his tenure, he was the Senior Marketing Officer as the company grew from one ship into the largest cruise line in the world. He was named president in 1993 and retired as CEO in 2007. He continues as a founding member of the Carnival Corporation Board of Directors. Involved with Camillus House since 1996, he has chaired the organization’s Board since 2004. Retirement has allowed Dickinson to devote more time in pursuit of the Camillus House vision of making Miami the first major city to end chronic homelessness. Construction of the new Norwegian Cruise Lines/Camillus House Campus is well underway and is slated for completion by spring of 2013. Dickinson serves on the boards of Gibraltar Private Bank and Trust and St. Thomas University. He and his wife, Jodi, reside in Coral Gables and have four children and ten grandchildren. His hobbies include chess, golf, wine appreciation and fine dining.
