Peter is an accomplished and proven C-Level Executive with both public and private company experience. His work has been recognized for assisting companies with growth, vision, leadership, strategic planning, team building, and strategies resulting in long-term sustainable results. His accomplishments include a Malcolm Baldrige award finalist and his earned trust with employees twice defeated organized labor.

Haines is currently Managing Director at Horizon Growth Advisors, and has served as Consultant to the Small Business Development Center of Miami-Dade for the Growth Acceleration Program.

The work of Horizon Growth Advisors has successfully delivered sales growth and increased profitability in 28 of 30 companies who engaged the firm. Haines is well known for his work in the Fitness Industry, a $4 Billion market, where he led the effort that built Cybex from a regional brand to a global brand with distribution in 70 countries around the world and revenues in excess of $100 million. Current clients include Jet Engine Repair, Court Reporting, Graphic Communication and Automotive.

Peter’s leadership affiliations include The Pino Entrepreneurship Center at Florida International University, MIT Enterprise Forum where he was Chairperson in 2010, The Sporting Goods Manufacturers Association where he served on the Board of Trustees and held the position of Vice Chairman. He is an active member of YPO/WPO (Young Presidents Organization / World Presidents Organization). His personal and professional developments include the Wharton Presidents’ Seminar at the University of Pennsylvania, Deming Quality Seminars, Motorola Management Institute, and MIT/Sloan workshops on ERP and Technology in the Corporation. A personal passion is boating and he holds a U.S. Coast Guard Masters License, 100 Tons.
