Lynn assisted the MIT Enterprise Forum with some of their events while working at the Business School at Nova Southeastern University as an Administrative Assistant in the Office of the Dean. She is a graduate of University of Miami, School of Communications with a Minor in Sociology. She was a member of Sigma Delta Chi Society of Professional Journalists. Upon graduation, she acquired experience working in radio news reporting.
Lynn previously worked with the State of Florida and Broward County as a coordinator of a Comprehensive Employment and Training program and also worked for Broward County, as a Personnel Management Specialist. Some of her entrepreneurial experience included Managing Director of a home-based tour and cruise agency for five years and she is a certified Accredited Cruise Counselor and a travel agent, and associate with Saks Off Fifth. She is a substitute teacher, a Teacher Assistant with Autistic children, for Broward Schools, where she hopes to eventually continue her work with Autistic and ESE children in the elementary schools. In addition to the MIT Enterprise Forum, Lynn devotes much of her other volunteer efforts to keeping the dream of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. alive in the ‘Beloved Community’ of West Broward as Vice Chair of the annual MLK Interfaith/Multicultural Committee program, in Plantation. She is often credited with bringing people of a common thread together, who can partner to promote and bridge cultural differences. Lynn credits her inspiration to being a devoted mother of three great sons and having a wonderful husband, Jose Rodriguez.
