As a 21 year veteran of the candy business, Jeff has been responsible for creating the most popular sweet spots in the country. He and his family pioneered the development of the traditional Bulk Candy Stores, which became ubiquitous across the country in the late 1980′s and early 1990′s. In 1995, Jeff went out on his own and created “FAO Schweetz,” the hugely popular candy departments located within the tony FAO Schwarz toy stores.

Jeff has also created thematic, candy shops for giant retail companies such as Warner Brothers Studio Stores, the Toys R Us Flagship Store in Times Square and Sony. Retailers were not the only ones calling the “Candy Man.” Jeff helped Hershey’s Chocolate World open their flagship store in Times Square.

In 2001, Jeff partnered with Dylan Lauren, daughter of famed designer Ralph Lauren, to create a 10,000 square foot candy emporium in New York City. As Co-owner and Founder of Dylan’s Candy Bar, Jeff has received accolades from not only the candy industry but the top business and fashion press around the world.

In 2006, Jeff created a retail confectionery brand called IT’SUGAR which now boasts over 25 locations in the USA, Dubai and England and with the opening of 12 stores this year, will become one of the largest confectionery retail brands in the world.

Jeff has received the Professional Candy Buyer Magazine’s prestigious Buyer of the Year Award for his outstanding achievements in the candy industry. He graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in economics and received his MBA from the University of Miami.
