Christine A. Cannella: Assistant Vice President Investor Relations with Fresh Del Monte Produce, Inc.
Senior level investor relations officer with successful track record of experience in high profile roles within both domestic and international companies ranging from consumer products – Fresh Del Monte Produce Inc. – incorporated and governed by the laws of the Cayman Islands; to construction equipment leasing, rental and sales with NationsRent, part of the H. Wayne Huizenga family of businesses; housing and land development with Levitz and Sons and Core Communities, former subsidiaries of BFC Financial; and office management.
Strengths in the areas of company and competitor assessment and monitoring, investor relations program development, marketing a company’s strengths, creating a positive company image and capturing external interest based on current and future opportunities. Excellent communicator with success in developing and managing long-term relationships based on knowledge of multi-cultural business practices, along with event and conference planning to include the development and hosting of company facility tours and delivery of formal multi-media presentations to Wall Street – Buy and Sell Side.
Christine’s reporting structure is directly to the Chief Financial Officer, with dotted line reporting to the President and COO and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Fresh Del Monte Produce. She travels with senior management and works closely with members of the board of directors. Equally skilled in project management – assembling teams, collaboration and process management. She is known for flexible, hands-on approach to completing tasks, tough but fair management style, enthusiastic and an extremely high energy level individual.
Christine is a member of the executive board for the South Florida Massachusetts Institute of Technology (“MIT-Cambridge”) Forum. Christine was inducted into the MIT Alumni Association Volunteer Honor Roll in 2008-2009. She is a member of the Women’s Executive Leadership (“WEL”) Programming Committee. She is a member of the National Investor Relations Institute (“NIRI”). Christine has presented at the National Investor Relations Institute’s Annual Conference. She served on the National Speakers Bureau for NIRI. Christine also serves as a moderator and speaker for the .South Florida NIRI chapter.
