GridGlo® is a private company providing insights into energy consumption. Based in Delray Beach, Florida, we work with Utilities, OEM’s, Application Developers, and other customers to integrate consumer behavioral data with energy consumption data.
Rich brings a combination of technical, operational, and entrepreneurship expertise to GridGlo®. Before GridGlo®, Rich provided operational and financial consulting to multiple CleanTech start-up firms. As Deputy Director for EnerFuel, a fuel cell development company, he increased sales from zero to over $1 million in under a year. Prior to that, Rich worked at an early stage venture capital firm investing in CleanTech, BioTech, and IT companies. Rich began his career as a systems engineer and program manager on data management systems for Homeland Security, DARPA, and other U.S. Intelligence agencies. He is active in Leadership Florida and the Business Development Board Green Energy Cluster. Rich holds a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from Florida Atlantic University, a Masters of Science in Systems Engineering from Southern Methodist University, and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Energy IQ is a recognized leader in the design, implementation, and ongoing management of building automation systems which are the foundation of ‘smart’ building infrastructure. Our solutions are a prerequisite for energy, operational intelligence and environmental management initiatives.
Mr. Abedon brings 20 years of successful sales experience in the real estate and financial services industries. He was Executive Vice President for Navarro Lowrey Properties, where he led the company’s project marketing, leasing, and acquisitions. While at Navarro Lowrey, he was a leader in the development of the award winning EcoPlex at Centrepark West, a four-story, 100,000-square-foot Class “A”, high performance office building that achieved a LEED® Gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council in 2009 under the LEED for Core and Shell Rating System. Prior to joining Navarro Lowrey, he was Vice President of Acquisitions and Development for the Brenner Real Estate Group. Mr. Abedon also serves as a board member of a number of civic and business organizations including the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County and the South Florida and Caribbean Chapter of the Urban Land Institute. He is a graduate of Tufts University and earned an MBA from Boston University.

Mr. Stuart has 24 years experience in the brokerage and investment banking industries. Mr. Stuart began his career as a broker with Prudential Bache Securities and later went on to found his own broker-dealer G.R. Stuart & Company which grew to 15 offices and 220 brokers nationwide. In 1995, Mr. Stuart sold G.R. Stuart & Company to a publicly traded Nasdaq listed company. Since that time, he has focused his efforts on raising capital for both public and private companies in a wide range of industries. Mr. Stuart is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts.
Howard Gitten (Moderator), Counsel Edwards Wildman and Palmer, LLP
Mr. Gitten is a technology lawyer. Having worked both in-house at a cutting edge photonics company, and in private practice, he brings a unique perspective to technology law. He brings a business perspective to technology issues and his technology background to business issues. As a registered patent attorney, board certified in Florida Howard, has helped commercialize green technologies ranging from waste composters, artificial soils, and smart grid technologies.. Howard received degrees in Systems Engineering and Economics form the University of Pennsylvania, and his JD from Case Western Reserve University. he currently serves as Chair of the MIT Enterprise Forum of South Florida.
